Prerequisites
2. Do one of the following:
a. Create a time line for yourself or a relative then write a short bio based on that time line.
b. Keep a journal for 6 weeks. Must write in it at least once a week.
3. With your parent's help, choose a relative or a family acquaintance you can interview in person, by telephone, or by email or letter. Record the information you collect so you do not forget it.
6. Begin your family tree by listing yourself and include at least 2 (more if possible) additional generations (PEDIGREE CHART).
***Need to bring this to attend class, otherwise will be assigned another class.
7. Complete a FAMILY GROUP RECORD listing yourself, brothers & sisters as children. On another family group record, show one of your parents and his/her brothers and sisters as children.
If you bring as many names and dates as you have, questions about how to fill out different charts and records will be covered. However, you must come with some names, especially of living relatives, to be able to fully participate in this class.
